Ashish Asthana is a Chartered Accountant (CA) by profession and a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) since 2000. Prior to qualifying, he completed his Bachelor of Science and Law from the University of Lucknow, India.

A practising Chartered Accountant for 26 years, Mr. Asthana brings profound expertise in audit, taxation, finance, and regulatory compliance. He founded TASK and ASSOCIATES in 2015 and serves as its Managing Partner, providing consultancy services to a diverse client portfolio spanning marketing, advertisement and publicity, manufacturing, mining, finance, NGOs, and other trading concerns. His advisory footprint extends internationally, with professional engagements across the UAE, China, and Ireland — experience that gives his clients a cross-border perspective on structuring, compliance, and investment decisions.

Beyond his practice, Mr. Asthana holds an advisory position on the board of Social Consultancy Services and serves as a Director of Nagrik Foundation, a Section 8 company committed to social causes.

A passionate educator, he is visiting faculty at ICWAI, the UP Power Corporation Training Institution, and the Income Tax Staff Training Institute, Lucknow. He also provided Value Added Services to leading organisations including BSNL, TATA Indicom, Idea, Reliance Infocom, and ICICI Bank through the XPERT platform (2004–2010).

Equally committed to giving back, Mr. Asthana has a keen interest in philanthropy and actively supports community initiatives. Known for his impactful personality, he is a sought-after mentor currently guiding numerous CA aspirants through their articleship journeys — shaping the next generation of finance professionals with the same rigour and integrity that define his own practice.
